Key Responsibilities:
- Manage scrap rates for assigned presses
- Monitor actual cycle times and efficiency
- Maintain Process Parameter sheets and provide essential information to the Engineer
- Identify and report problems with presses, robots, and EOAT (provide feedback to Engineer)
- Record Logbook entries and communicate shift issues during pass-down
- Ensure cleanliness of machines, including purging, pellets, parts, and runners in press
- Identify ROOT CAUSE accurately and input into barco at each press stoppage
- Perform cleaning of tools in the assigned area at the end of each shift
- Enforce proper break times and schedule to optimize efficiency
- Conduct training on setup processes and ensure proper startup of presses and tools
- Additional duties as needed
Qualifications:
- Three to five years of prior two-shot injection molding processing experience
- High School Diploma/GED
